Entitled 'Lightshow', the new ad represents a spectacular homage to the pint of Guinness, through the use of synchronised light effects.
Over 900 people created a spectacular lightshow, which culminated in an office building being transformed into a giant pint of Guinness.
The advertisement captures the group's efforts spectacularly. There is an air of intrigue as a large crowd of people swarm into the selected office building to re-create the Guinness surge in all its splendour.
This sense of intrigue and mystery continues as the group strategically position themselves around the building. There is purpose to what is happening and it is clear that it has been well planned, but exactly what is taking place is not yet known.
Then the moment arrives and light flashes throughout the glass fronted building. Up-close details of ordinary things appear as stunning visuals, blades of the office blinds open and close, florescent lights flicker on the ceiling, all of which create beautiful light effects.
From a distance, light flows and surges throughout the building to create a liquid-like movement and passers-by realise what they are witnessing - an enormous representation of a pint of Guinness.
