Centre For Creative Practices

"Creating Artistic Communities"

Take Off

The challenge

There are over 419,000 non-Irish living in Ireland representing over 180 countries and a significant proportion of these people are professional artists. The lack of a supportive, inclusive and creative environment prevents integration and leads to frustration, disappointment, feeling of alienation or giving up artistic practices which is a waste of human and economic potential.

The vision

The Centre for Creative Practices, founded in Sep.‘09, is the only arts centre in Ireland dedicated to connecting, integrating and promoting immigrant, experimental and emerging artists among the local arts scene and audiences. Established as a multipurpose venue CFCP bridges talents, cultures and markets and provides a new model of integrating immigrants, local or niche artists through intercultural collaborations and daily multicultural and multidisciplinary programme.
