RAG (Raising And Giving)

"Empowering Ireland’s students"

Start-Up

The challenge

Ireland is currently in the throes of societal breakdown. A myriad of economic, cultural, social and environmental issues are now manifesting themselves in a general sense of apathy and societal disillusionment amongst students. Many young people see a prosperous future in Ireland as an unattainable dream. In excess of 1,000 young university graduates a week are seeking brighter futures on foreign shores. While upwards of 100,000 university graduates are currently unemployed.

The vision

Raising and Giving (RAG) believes in a new narrative. They envisage the future of our country as one where an engaged, able and empowered student body are active in shaping the future of Ireland. They aim to ensure, that the coming generation, who will drive forward the future of our society, are nurtured in a way which allows them to realise their potential and in turn realise the sustainable, inclusive future we all crave.
