What is the goal of your organisation?

That every bereaved family throughout Ireland will have access to the relevant support services they need after the death of a child.

How is support from The Arthur Guinness Fund helping?

It has helped towards the core funding of Anam Cara, allowing us to put all our fundraising and donations directly into front line services, which is ultimately what our donors and fundraisers want. The training and development we have received as Arthur Guinness Fund awardees has fast-tracked Anam Cara as a national voluntary organisation. Coupled with mentoring from key people within Diageo, this has helped Anam Cara enormously in our National Awareness Campaign and given us a clear insight into what we need to do to achieve our vision.
