What is the goal of your organisation?

Third Age is national voluntary organisation, which both values older people's contribution to society and helps to meet their personal and community needs through innovative programmes.

How is support from The Arthur Guinness Fund helping?

The Arthur Guinness Fund has helped us to grow the national reach of Failte Isteach and increase the development team that organises and supports the project. The more areas we have branches in, the greater the impact we have on communities and the more opportunities are created for older volunteers to participate. More crucially, we have been able to reach more students in need of both English language skills and the social interaction provided by Failte Isteach. Support from The Arthur Guinness Fund has also enhanced our sustainability, helping to improve our marketing and providing key training that would not otherwise have been possible.
