What is the goal of your organisation?

The mission or vision of our organisation is to have a Pieta Service within 60 kilometres of every person in Ireland. Everyone is entitled to help and to be embraced during periods of acute distress.

How is support from The Arthur Guinness Fund helping?

Financially, The Arthur Guinness Fund carried us through two very difficult periods where we were expecting financial support from another source but it was delayed. The money from this fund paid for therapists who provided immediate and urgent counselling to hundreds of people. As stated in my book, 'Cover Up: Understanding Self-Harm', The Arthur Guinness Fund allowed us to stand on its shoulders to help us reach the next level of professionalism and expertise.
