What is the goal of your organisation?

Rediscover Fashion's mission, as part of the Rediscovery Centre's overall vision, is to reduce waste-to-landfill, provide training and employment and inspire sustainable living. Specifically, Rediscover Fashion prevents textile waste being sent to landfill by producing a 100% recycled fashion, accessories and homeware range. As well as promoting waste prevention and textile reuse, Rediscover Fashion also provides training and employment. Our revenues are reinvested in training, materials and job creation.

How is support from The Arthur Guinness Fund helping?

The financial support received from The Arthur Guinness Fund has given Rediscover Fashion the opportunity to expand and grow. It has made a huge difference throughout the project. The project being financially secure has enabled Carrie Ann to attend various events to stress textile waste issues, along with highlighting the success of the project. It has also enabled us to host a fashion show that received national coverage, highlighted the project's message and pushing it further into the world of eco fashion.
