Fatboy Slim
Fatboy Slim (aka Norman Cook) is an electronic music pioneer who has achieved mainstream popularity. He has won ten MTV video music awards and two Brit awards and his most well known songs include "Praise You", "The Rockafeller Skank" and "Right Here Right Now". In 2012, Norman produced “Mama do the hump” for the Rizzle Kicks, which reached number 3 in Ireland and number 2 in the UK. Over the past year he has performed across the globe from the Great Wall of China, Las Vegas, Ibiza, Australia, Bali and Brazil. In June, Norman played one of the biggest shows of his career, The Big Beach Bootique at his beloved Amex Football Stadium in Brighton. This will be screened for one night only on 31st August in cinemas across the world.
On Sunday 12th August, Norman played to the biggest audience of his career a billion people watched him performing a medley of his hits on a giant illuminous octopus at the closing ceremony of the Olympics.
